Do Jewish people find it offensive that they are often stereotyped as nerdy and weak in films and tv shows?

Most shows that have Jewish characters in usually stereotype the Jewish character as nerdy and not very manly. For example Ross in Friends, Seth in the OC etc, and never really have the Jewish characters as confident ladies men. The only example I can think of where a Jewish character is portrayed as confident is Seth Rogen in 40 year old virgin and Knocked Up etc and the Jewish characters in the film Berlin, but they’re meant to work for Mossad anyway, but you rarely see a conventionally cool Jewish character on tv shows.

NO – Jewish people don’t find it offensive at all, they are comedy shows to make viewers laugh…

Ross in Friends has actually made some good movies like "The Uprising" more than just a confident character in the movie…

May be some stereotypes, like in the movie "Borat" if you haven’t seen it yet, it is by a Jewish person. They are just meant with humor. To make us laugh.

We laugh at stereotypes that aren’t true…

They are not all like that. What about the guy who sings the song about "von big staircase jost going up, and won evon bigger coming down" in ‘Fiddler on the Roof"? or Shylock? or Barbara Streisand in ‘Funny girl’? Also St Peter was in ‘The Robe’ and he used to be Jewish before he got religion. (St Peter, not Michael Rennie who played the part).
