    @nilhav
    U r wrong, by not quoting the verses ahead that make it clear:
    David was punished by God who killed David’s son born of Bathsheba in (2 Sam 12:16)
    Nathan tells David in (v14) that “God has taken away ur sin,..however..that son born to u in sin will die”
    So God spared David, only bcoz God killed his son in (v.16).
    & that is not all -God also said that David’s own Son (Absalom) will openly lay with his wives bcoz u lay with Uriah’s wife in secret (v.11-12).
    God must punish sin!

    God’s …

    @onlytruth43
    God’s manifested presence is not on earth, as it was in the Temple. So sacrifices for atonement is not need for the Temple to house His presence.
    Num 8:19″I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron…, to perform the service of the sons of Israel at the tent of meeting and to make atonement on behalf of the sons of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the sons of Israel by their coming near to the sanctuary.”

    Coming near the presence!

    Exo 30 …

    @onlytruth43
    Exo 30:15 when you give the contribution to HASHEM to make atonement for yourselves. “You shall take the atonement money from the sons of Israel & shall give it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may be a memorial for the sons of Israel before HASHEM, to make atonement for yourselves.”

    So I though blood was the only form of atonement? Lev 5 also describes a poor man’s sin sacrifice as bloodless, and his sins will be forgiven and he received atonement.

  4. nilhav Says:

    Sorry …

    @onlytruth43
    Sorry but your error is that you have been deluded into Christian theology. Lev 17:11 is not saying that blood is the only way for atonement, but not to eat blood for it is used for atonement. The Torah describes other methods where atonement was received, even money. The word soul means being.

    @onlytruth43
    So I guess David was no good because he broke God’s commandment & was not perfect? Sorry but you are wrong! Yet David was forgiven of his sin without giving sacrifice. Wow! How wrong can you be!

    2 Sam 12:Then David said to Nathan, ” I have sinned against HASHEM” And Nathan said to David, “HASHEM also has taken away your sin; you shall not die.

    Psa 51:16For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it

    See this is pure ignorance. Yeshua quoted 2 commandments that are not in the 10. He said the greatest 2 commandments were ones that were not apart of the 10, but refers to every part of Torah, not just the 10; to love & serve God, & to love your neighbor. It says ALL of the Torah hangs on these 2, not just the 10. So still, where did Yeshua say only the 10 & not the rest of Torah? Again, why are SDA keeping dietary laws if they were nailed to the cross? Hypocrites!

    @Prepare
    Sorry but I was laughing most of the time so why do you think I am angry? Anyway, you know nothing about the Temple, & need to study. Where does it say in Tanakh that the covenant at Sinai is the OLD covenant? See you are running your mouth without understanding. I was referring to the Christian term OLD covenant.

  8. nilhav Says:

    Exo 34:27. …

    @Prepare
    Exo 34:27. HaShem said to Moses: “Inscribe these words for yourself, for according to the mouth of these words I have formed a covenant with you and with Israel.”and He inscribed upon the tablets the words of the Covenant, the Ten Commandments.

    This is God saying that Israel entered the covenant according to Israel hearing the 10. After the 10, the leaders approached Moses to request that they no longer hear God, & they will obey. Therefore the covenant was ratified. Deut 5!

    What is the worth …
    What is the worth of a lie in front of the God, even if trillions of people believed in it?
    Can the liar feel a true joy?
    Or we can say that he can be fake here and true there?
    Does he know that there is a whole new, by far better, world waiting for him if he quits of his wicked ways and of all those things that he gained from his iniquities? Or the decoy is so good that he scares to lose it?
    If you do the step do it with invariability and dont be afraid, the God will be with you.

  10. scanmangr Says:

    The righteous …
    The righteous christian doesnt practice good acts for his own benefit, i.e. in order to be rewarded or to avoid and gain paradise, but rather because he prefers the good and not the evil. Everything else is a natural consequence of the good that fills his soul without having asked for it. In this way, the good has dignity, otherwise it comes from the cheap attidute of “give and take”.

  11. scanmangr Says:

    But many people …
    But many people love the conceitedness and they become like the satan.
    Their souls rest at the place where the satan finds his fake joy and his condemnation.
    Why they blame the God for their choice?

  12. scanmangr Says:

    By humility He covered His glory.

    You cant see, you are blind, because you cant steal and injure other people and make charities.

  14. scanmangr Says:

    The soul that loves God, finds rest there, in God and not in the vanity of the world.

    It stands to reason that LOVE THE LORD THY GOD with all thy heart, mind & soul is summed up by the first 4 commandments dealing with our relationship. So Yeshua indeed taught that the 10 are the greatest commandments & that ALL THE LAW & THE PROPHETS hang on them!!!

    You wrote “Show me where Yeshua said only the 10 & not the rest of the Torah”

    Matthew 22:40 All the law & the prophets hang on the 2 commandments; 1. LOVE THE LORD THY GOD with all thy nearts, mind & soul. 2. LOVE YOUR neighbour as yourself

    Romans 13:9-10 LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF is summed up be the commansments dealing with human relationship IN THE DECALOGUE.

    You wrote “The 10 commandments are not the old covenant”

    NILHAV, this is serious! Are you really that ignorant??
    Deut 4:16 He (God) dclared to you HIS COVENANT, THE 10 COMMS, …& wrote them on 2 stones!!!

    NILHAV, HOW CAN YOU SAY THE 10 COMMS ARE NOT THE OLD COVENANT when scripture CLEARLY says so??? Where are the scriptures to support your claims of the covenant being more than the 10 comms??

    CLEANSED FROM THEIR SINS on the day of atonement where the boold of the goat was sprinkled on the atonement cover to to atone for the transgressors of the 10 commandments. YOU NEED TO STUDY THE SUBJECT OF THE SANCTUARY REALLY THOROUGHLY.

    You obviously DO NOT UNDERSTAND the whole purpose of the sanctuary! The testimony, the 10 comms were its focus & its THEIR VIOLATION that created the need to sacrifice animals. The sins of the people in the form of the blood of the animals sprinkled in the curtain the the holy place WERE THEN REMOVED from the sanctuary & the people CLEANSED FROM

    Nilhav now says the 10 comms were ONLY separated from the rest of the Torah becoz people were afraid to hear God speak? How about their special HOUSING in the ark of the covenant? They were THE PRIMARY CONTENTS OF THE TABERNACLE .

    In Acts 7:44 Stephen calls the tabernacle THE TABERNACLE OF THE TESTIMONY because THE PRIMARY CONTENTS OF IT WERE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT & THE TEN COMMANDMENTS it contained which were called the testimony Ex 25:16

    It seems nilhav doesn’t understand that the TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE INFACT THE OLD COVENANT!!! He lumps them with the 603 laws that were there for the sanctuary services! The 10 comms are moral & eternal. It is their VIOLATION that God calls sin.

    Nilhav now says the 10 comms were ONLY separated from the rest of the Torah becoz people were afraid to hear God speak? How about their special HOUSING in the ark of the covenant?

    Sorry, not from Bible (but from Tanakh).
    .
    How can sin be forgiven w/o shedding & sprinkling of blood? -as per (Leviticus 17:11)-”.. for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul…”
    .
    The Tanakh says -”SOUL” not just the “earthly man in flesh”!
    .
    So how can U prove “salvation of MAN’S soul” -w/o shedding of blood?
    .
    ..& this, I fail to understand this,…so kindly enlighten me with ur THEORIES….!

    @nilhav -”..God did …
    @nilhav -”..God did not curse Daniel,..out of exile to run back to Jerusalem so they can give sacrifices..So while God is in heaven, He blots out our sin as we repent.”
    .
    Ans – So when God is in heaven, He…then is not present on earth?
    .
    can u pl. show verses from Bible where God has forgiven (inherited sin that men receive automatically from childhood), (Gen 3:15) -the Adam’s sinful blood.
    .
    God has only forgiven earthly (consequences) -punishment of lawlessness -but never eternal sin!

    You wrote “The reason the 10 commandments were on stone is because people asked Moses to stop God speaking to them”

    See this is WHERE YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM! The 10 commandments were not ISOLATED from the rest of the commandments BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE AFRAID, PLEASE!!! The 10 commandments were kept in the GARDEN OF EDEN before man’s fall. They were then HOUSED INSIDE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT to show their ETERNAL NATURE.
