Why cant the white race get our own tv channel? How is this fair? We cant even have our own month either! Why are white people getting discriminated like this?

Also, considering the fact that the average American television show already contains White-majority casts, a network centred around "White entertainment" will only contain racist material broadcasted and/or suggested by people that advocate "WET." In other words, since regular television is already White majority to begin with, what do you think a possible station advocated by far-Right conservatives will broadcast? Racist far-Right material. For that reason, WET would not last long anyway because in the 21st century, racism is not tolerated by mainstream America such as during the Jim Crow days. BET, on the other hand, formed in the 80’s, which was, believe it or not, a time when Black people were rarely featured on television. Robert L. Johnson, Black billionaire, wanted to open a station that would appeal to a majority of viewers. Considering the fact that Black people were rarely featured on television, Johnson created "Black Entertainment Television" to not only feature more Blacks on TV, but to also make a profit. In comparison, why create WET for any reason other than a perceived double-standard, considering White people already tune into a majority of American TV shows in the first place and comprise the majority of cast members?

We, as whites, don’t have a "WET" channel because we base our entertainment preferences on our many subcultures instead of our race.
That’s why there are channels like CMT(which reflects rural, country lifestyle) instead of "WET"(which, if it existed, should reflect the tastes of the entire white race).
What would they show on WET? Country music? Metal music? It would be a clusterfuck!
When you think about it, BET only has shows based on Hip Hop subculture, which doesn’t reflect the tastes of the entire black community.

I don’t get it either. since I moved from the country and into the city I’ve noticed that whites aren’t the racist ones. it’s the minorities..(that is not even close to being spelt right) just because I’m a white female I’m automatically a white *ss cracker b*tch. I don’t understand it. there was a black man in the mall cursing at people saying very racist things,and when the security guards told him to leave he said" oh ya jus bein racist! it’s cuz I be black ya’ll hatin on me" idk why they have to talk like that lol. but he made a really big deal out of it. and he was the problem. people are dumb.

because white people are in pretty much everything so other races should have their own thing. like me and my cousin looked through a fasion magazine and we we’re like "i bet we wont find any other race besides white people in here" and we we’re sorta right there was one african american guy but he was far away behind a group of white people. and there was like one latina but she was in a picture with a white guy i think.
and theres alot of t.v shows with mostly white people. like the Nanny(i love that show but just saying)

and on all the channels you put down they have shows about their culture and stuff, so like what would be on the WET network?
Also the months that other races have are to celebrate and remember the history or culture.
like Black history month when we celebrate african american culture and heros like martin luther kind,rosa parks,jakie robinson.
and isn’t the one for asians Asian history month (sorry i dont know if thats right) they celebrate asian culture and their heros. and so on.

I feel ya to a degree. But we are the majority and most channels are white. I believe you are trying to make a point though about the double standards.
I live in a Bolivian household and he watches BET (roommate) and we have Mexicans, and used to have a black roommate. We called our house the United Nations.
I used to be heavily into black culture but I think most of it is trash now. Rims and Timbs, bling bling. I’m 26 now and think it’s a joke. In fact, I believe the recession was caused by rap and the excess or domination and taking what you want. So 2000’s – but I got swept up in it.
TV shows need to reflect reality, multi culture crews. The problem with BET is it excludes whites by making racist jokes, or scripts like "We are 4 young black men .. . ." I can’t relate to that.
Honestly, I think MTV has done the best job at portraying multi cultures. People need to stop using race as a crutch. Poverty is the real discrimination. Being ghetto or trailer trash won’t get you anywhere.
Fact: Whites bought black slaves off of conquering black tribes in Africa as it was more economical to let them do the dirty work (enslave it’s own "poor" people).
Watch Apocolypto to see how latin indians treated their poor (sacrificed) and then see how the white man did the same thing to them.
Wait until aliens come teach us all a lesson.
