sorry about putting it in the movie section–it just did that automatically.
i mean im not a person whos extreme christian or anything. but any other Christians find it insulting??!! i told her that movie is in a way making fun of Christians, and then she goes well we all think its the funniest movie alive and watch it every summer–its the camp councilors favorites movie.
You can’t live your life going around being offended by everything. I consider myself to be feminist and if I took offense to every movie that stereotyped women or made fun of us, I really couldn’t watch much now could I? Basically, take entertainment for what it is and don’t be so sensitive that you can’t laugh at something funny. Don’t internalize movies, just watch and be amused. For the record, that movie was funny:0)

Saved is a funny movie. Yes, there are fundamentalist Christian groups that actually act that way. Yes, it might be questionable to show it at a Jewish camp. SO WHAT? Why, in the name of all that’s politically correct do we all have to watch everything we say and do every minute of every day? Can’t anyone take a little good natured ribbing anymore?
