Why are hundreds of horror movies about Christian themes, but hardly any about Jewish or Buddhist themes?

Posted by admin on August 9th, 2011 and filed under Jewish Movies | 8 Comments »

Does it tell us something about those religions?

Jews have plenty of horror story in fact all the Christian Horror story’s are Judaism.

If you are going to ask Religious questions study it first you sound young and silly.

So maybe you should say the Judaism story instead of Christian.

Which are the Jews silly child.

And Buddhist create no horror story’s.
But ancient bloody Bible Thumbers, the Inquisitions and the Conquistadors have nothing on the Modern Day Present Muslim Jihad.

Movies about the Jewish persecuted in concentration camp in ww2?

complicated title, haha, but basically movies about ww2, with the concentration camp and how the jews were treated. Not the pianist, i’ve seen that and that’s what got me into it, as well as the boy in the striped pyjamas. I get really interested watching movies about this, so any suggestion will be appreciated.. thank you =)

What kind of traditional Jewish music would have been played at Amy Winehouse’s funeral today?

Posted by admin on August 6th, 2011 and filed under Jewish Music | 4 Comments »

Can you provide a link to your answer, please?

None, actually, if it were a ‘traditional Jewish funeral’. I know that’s the phrase the papers are using, but it seems to be more of an adaptation. The family is sitting shiva for two days instead of seven, her body was cremated and a secular song was used. So it’s hard to guess what elements of a traditional service they may have included.

AFAIK, the mourners’ kaddish is spoken rather than chanted.
