Are there any Jewish biblical movies?
I would like to see some movies from the bible from the Jewish view.
There are none.
Even Fiddler on the Roof was clearly a depiction of the modern American view of those times ("tradition" was not at all the reason the Jews did what they did). And The Ten Commandments as well. It was almost a secular interpretation of the story, that’s how many mistakes they made in telling the story. It’s so far from the truth in so many areas.
Most ultra-orthodox Jews don’t believe in TV and movies. They think it’s a waste of time and a distraction from living life to the fullest, and that’s why you’re never going to see real orthodox Jews in any movie or show; it would all be just a costume. If there are any movies out there trying to show the Jewish perspective they would only be reform, and reform sort of reinvented Judaism to how they thought it fit with the times so you can’t exactly trust their outlook on things.

@no1home2: I have read the bible three times. I have read the koran once and I’ve read the torah twice although the Old Testament almost is the Torah. I don’t need to read it anymore. God in all three books kills countless amounts of people in His name? How is that not a science experiment? If someone so much as accidentally trips a prophet in any of the books, God blinds him, kills his family, and destroys the village
